RM of Weyburn’s story
The Rural Municipality of Weyburn No. 67 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 13, 1909. It lies in the southeast part of Saskatchewan and surrounds the city of Weyburn and the village of McTaggart.
Within its boundaries are the organized hamlet of North Weyburn and the localities of Grassdale, Mansur, Ralph and Talmage. The RM office is located in Weyburn, and a council and an appointed administrator run the municipality.
Today Highways 13, 35 and 39 cross the RM, and the Weyburn Airport is found here.
